Fishing Patterns
Bass fly patterns are seldom talked about
because you really don't need a lot of them but your fly box should contain at
least most of this list.

Clouser's Minnow: Bob's
pattern is still one of the best. Good in a variety of sizes and patterns.

original pattern as well as the many knock offs including the Maribou Muddler is an often over looked
fly.

in some waters especially for large fish.

Depending where you fish if
you fish rivers with the white fly hatch, Ephron leukon and relates species nymph and emerger patterns for
these flies are a must.

Large fur nymphs are deadly on
both smallmouths and largemouths especially in streams

Dragon fly nymph
patterns. Always have a couple, work well in some waters.

Maribou streamers are still
hard to beat. Yellow, black, white, and combinations with red work well as does
orange.

Have then from light to dark because the fish are seeing mostly the bottom of the fly.

Large Stonefly Nymphs for
stream fishing are a good bet too. Bright ones and black ones are good bet.

Stimulator Patterns will work on both lakes and streams. Especially good on quite waters for wary
bass.
